Hello students and parents, During these very challenging times it is very important to stay active both physically and mentally. I suggest five minutes of excercise first thing in the morning before you eat. A simple routine of bouncing up and down on your toes and some jumping jacks will get your blood flowing and activate your lymphnodes,. follow this with some light stretches both upper and lower body
Breakfast can often be quick and convienant for us, but not always healthy. Try to add healthy foods to your breakfast such as blueberries, bananas or any other healthy fruit or vegtables. Avoiding foods containing unhealthy fats sugar and additives, will give you more energy during the day and help your body to lose fat.
Meditation helps us to de-stress, there are many different forms of meditation, including breathing, listening to music and yoga. Ten minutes a day dedicated to meditation will decrease your stress levels help to lower your blood pressure and improve your quality of sleep. Everyone should drink at least 8 glasses of fresh water daiily as it helps to flush out harmful toxins in the body, and is very good for our skin and organs.
Everyone should engage in some random acts of kindess on a daily basis. These may include holding the door for someone, letting someone go in traffic, pick something up for someone, smile, say hello and goodbye, say.please and thank you and the world will be a better place.
