Hello Third Grade Families, I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a restful break. Thank you for the thoughtful Christmas gifts, I truly appreciate them.
As we begin the year, we are learning new material. In ELA we are working on summarizing stories, finding theme, using key details to support main ideas when reading and writing responses.
We have learned how to find the area of a region in math. We are beginning to study surveys, tallies, pictographs, and bar graphs to interpret data.
Students used the scientific method to experiment on the time it takes for ice to melt.
