English Language Arts - Students are learning to identify the Main Idea and/or plot in a story. - Students are learning to identify key details in a story.
Mathematics - Students are learning to subtract two-digit numbers with and without regrouping. - Students are learning to solve one- to two-step word problems addition and subtraction word problems.
Religion - Students are learning about the readings we listen and respond to at Mass. - Students are preparing for First Penance and Holy Communion.
Social Studies - Students are currently learning the difference between goods and services.
Science - Students are currently learning how living things change and grow!

Monday 2/1 - School Spirit Day Show your St. Gabriel strength by wearing the school colors (red & white)
Tuesday 2/2 - Salute to our Essential Workers Grade 2 will write thank you notes to our essential workers (Firefighters)
Wednesday 2/3 - Athletic Sports Day Students may dress down in their favorite sports team shirt or jersey.
Thursday 2/4 - Literacy Celebration Dress down. Students may bring their favorite book and read to the class.
Friday 2/5 - Movie/Snack Day Students may wear a crazy hat or silly socks.
We we will watch a movie while enjoying our individual snacks!
