Established in 1941, Saint Gabriel School provides your child with a full educational program within the framework of the Catholic faith. Saint Gabriel School is a Catholic elementary school serving children from three years of age through eighth grade since, 1941.

For seventy-five years, Saint Gabriel School has been providing a creative and rigorous academic education in a faith-filled environment fostered by our central belief that all people are created in God’s image and likeness. We encourage our students to be the best they can be and follow the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Although we are a Catholic School under the Auspices of the Archdiocese of New York and the North West South Bronx Catholic School Region, we welcome children of all faiths.

Typical Day

Pre-K 3 Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
After School Program available for students in Grades K - 8

7:40 AM	Drop-Off Begins
8:00 AM	Classes Begin \| Pre-K 3, K and Grades 1-8
8:10 AM	Classes Begin \| UPK
11:15 AM	Dismissal \| Pre-K 3
11:40 AM - 12:20 PM	Lunch and Recess
2:30 PM	Dismissal \| UPK
2:45 PM	Dismissal \| K - Grade 8
2:45 PM - 5:30 PM*	After School Program \| Grades K - 8 *6:00 PM beginning September 2017
