Welcome back families!
My name is Mrs. Mazi and I am very excited to be your child's Second Grade teacher for this school year. I am looking forward to working with your child and helping him/her grow in their education. My goal is to make your child's learning experience a fun and exciting one as well as instill a love for learning along the way!
I strongly believe that parent/teacher communication is important in order to ensure educational success for your child. I will communicate with you primarily through e-mail. Please feel free to contact me via email if you ever have questions or concerns at [email protected]
***The first day of school is tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 8th!
Students must arrive at 8:00am.
We will dismiss at 11:35am as it is a half day of school. Snack is optional.
On full school days, dismissal is at 2:40pm.
- Tomorrow, students should bring in all school supplies that is listed below. There will be no sharing of any supplies so please make sure your child has the supplies that they need daily.
- Students should also bring in their summer reading assignment so they can receive credit for their work.
- I will be using ClassDojo again this year to send information, pictures, and reminders. Please e-mail me with your child's name as the subject and include your best e-mail to contact you. My e-mail is [email protected]
- Google Classroom will be used for class code links. More information to follow.
- Please bring in headphones with your child's name on them.

★ 1 Packet of loose leaf paper
★ 3 Folders with bottom pockets (Please label each folder)
○ Homework Folder○ Classwork Folder
○ Test Folder
★ Soft pencil case with zipper
★ Sharpened #2 pencils (minimum of 3 daily)
★ Box of crayons or colored pencils
★ Glue stick
★ 1 pair of scissors
★ 1 box of tissues
★ 1 Roll of paper towels
★ 1 Pack of baby wipes
★ 1 Hand Sanitizer
